Wifi Cameras without wifi

I have an SV3C camera, but the Wifi won't extend to where I want to put the Camera. If I set the Camera up where I have wifi then moved it and connected it where there is no wifi, would the camera still record movement? Then later I could take the SD card and read it on my computer.

depends on the camera ( question of what the programmers did when making the software / firmware ), if this is what you are looking for, then look for what is called a "trail camera"

Howdy @Seanog ... since you have the camera already, just try testing it... should be fast and easy to test for that functionality!

I suspect it will work as you are hoping
