yes & no..
those will be replacement for old Full Color 5449 / 5849 line...
WizMind-S (5442-S3 / 54IR-S3) stays at it is..

1/1.8" sensor, two variants - with fixed lens (F1.0) and varifocal one (first one for Full Color cams, F1.2)..
dual IR/white light, deterrence functions (so siren, no info about red/blue lens), AI based on larger models with better accuracy (first in Dahua, HIK have on newest models)...
Al AI functions from 5xx2-S3...

Looks like good replacement for WizMind-S for house market (except lack of Z4E optics)..

Those look really interesting to me.

IPC-T5442TM-AS 2.8mm
IPC-HDW5442T-ZE
None are S3 as they are from late 2021.

I need to add some cams to the system.

How does Full Color 5449 line compare to WizMind-S (5442-S3 / 54IR-S3) in terms of image quality / noise / night view?

old Full Color line was bad (I hated video/image processing there).. But those are 2 generations back in SOC technology / video processing..

Here we are talking about newest WizColor cams with latests SOCs and AI video processing...
WizColor TIOC-PRO 3xx9-PRO are very good, so there is hope that new 5xx9 with more powerful SOC, better image sensor & lenses will be even better..

Where you getting this info from Steve, you seem to be ahead of the game with Dahua info
 
As always, great info @steve1225 ... and cool that @EMPIRETECANDY will have them soon .... as I'm hoping to replace some cameras and get some improved low-light capability over the 5442-S3's.

BTW, do ALL of the new Dahua camera's come with animal detection? That ends up being pretty nifty/useful.

For now animal support is only on WizMind-S (5xx2-S3) & WizMind-X (7xx2-X) cams...
No other lines supports this...

Even new triple-sight cam (IPC-MFW5241T2-E3-ASE) based on the same platform/firmware as WizMind-S don't support animals as target..

In theory animal support is part of AcuPick 2.0 - so new WizColor 5xx9-PRO cams should support this...
But we should wait when Dahua will put on website official full specification for those cams...
