Dahua NVR not displaying 1 of 10 cameras on monitor

My 4216P NVR has, for the past few years, displayed all 10 cameras (stream S1) on the monitor. But recently one of the camera windows is blank unless I switch the stream to Main. I've fiddled with lots of settings but I'm at a loss to the reason why. I'm sure it's something sinmple. Any suggestions how I get that one camera to start displaying back on stream S1 again? All other cameras continue to work fine.

Check the camera web GUI for the codec settings for the substream, and whether the substream is still enabled.
And check that you can see a live view for the substream in the camera web GUI.

Check first on the camera interface itself, (Not the NVR) that the substream is enabled

Thanks guys/gals?, you were pretty much correct, although there wasn't any "Codec" field. One of the mainstream fields had changed (not by me or anyone else) so I changed it back to match the other cameras and all is well. Thanks for the help.
