It has the latest autotracking version on it, but I am sure some of the other cams (minus the 49225 and 49425) probably have had firmware updates on it to be the same.
There are parts of this tracking that are incredible - it seems to be predicting an objects pace and can continue tracking after an obstacle (car, tree, post, etc.) temporarily blocks the object.
But when I compare it to my 49225 and 49425, there have been instances where the 49s continued tracking and the SD4A didn't and vice versa. As we know there will always be instances that tracking is lost. They probably even out over a week to the same number of misses.
Yeah, with the 1/2.8" sensor and the IR not being as strong, they should have put it on 2MP instead of 4MP. Or put 1/1.8" sensor on it for 4MP.
