the black one has a little delay, will see if can be ready this week, if can be ready will open the sales. But have to ship from HONGKONG. US local stocks have to wait to Middle/End of April.

My order of IPC-Color4K-T180 was delivered today. I can't wait for the installation outside and just put it near the window to test it. It looks pretty good with the newest firmware V3.120.0000000.14.R. build 2-27-2023. I'm using 4096X1536 resolution setting, but 4096X1216 might actually look more "normal" and preferred by other people.Thank you Andy for the quick delivery.

If it would help, I would be willing to buy one now (and get that third lottery ticket ) and wait for it when the
black version is ready to ship in April. I was really looking to forward to buying a black one during the sale, but
I am gonna buy one anyway, but only in black.
It snowed, hailed, rained, hailed, snowed and rained here in Oregon today, so I'm in no hurry to get on a ladder.

As some of you may know, we are moving (returning) to the free state of Florida now that my wife’s parents no longer need her.

In anticipation of replacing the analog system with IP cameras, I bought 3 5442’s from Andy during this sale. When they arrived, my wife looked at me and said that 3 cameras are not enough, so I bought 3 more . Now I have a black 5442, 6 white 5442’s, an older Andy cam for the garage and a 5421-Z12 for LPR (plan to get a second one). I’ve got 4 lottery tickets so I hope I win the mini PTZ or the 180* cam.

BTW, she was hesitant in the beginning about having cameras but after 5 years she wouldn’t be without them. Just the convenience of being able to look at the front door or driveway to see who might be there was a game changer for her. We use a 12” RCA tablet to display our cameras 24/7.

Asking for a friend, where can you find a wife that every time you buy new cameras the wife will say not enough, let's double that!

I don't have the money but would happily recommend the 180 from what I've seen as a good overview / front or back of property camera. For a doorway I'd probably choose a more conventional offering, but with eptz, it offers an excellent alternative to 2 conventional cameras in many locations. Fingers crossed for me in the lottery! I will be asking Mike to have a look at this in his thread for BI.
