I was watching a webcam on Ft Myers’s beach. Over the span of 5 hours the water level went up considerably. Apparently it lost power as it’s off line now.

No one ever talks about another advantage of IP Cams. When you are all shuttered up in your home, it is great to have IP Cams surrounding your house. The IP cams are the Window outside while enjoying the "Cave Life". This is where having UI3 streaming to your 40" TV monitors throughout the house comes in handy.
Not in Florida, but two Dahua PTZ's, another fixed point Dahua (night color), fixed point Hikvision (also night color), and a Camect NVR to with very good object A.I. to tell me if I need to chamber a round in the wee morning hours..

The climate has been changing since earth was a baby. To deny it is to deny the ice age. To think that we can stop it is based on speculation by some scientists. The same scientists that have been wrong so many times before. Is wrong.
Who said anything about stopping it, its way too little, way too late as I've mentioned elsewhere. As to Ice Ages of course they have been, last one ended approx. 12,00 years ago. Its only the last several thousand years that the Climate was "relatively" stable that permitted "Civilization" (which would still be a good idea...) to exist today. Most of Earths Climate over the last geologic epochs is in one of two states...Hot House, or heavily glaciated and cold. Complete reversal from one state to the other can take as little as a dozen years. Despite your disbelief, we are now in Abrupt Change, and also well into the Sixth Global Mass Extinction. And again despite your disbelief, Humans caused this one. The effect Carbon has on the atmosphere, and its heat trapping ability were first discovered in 1856, We've been dumping Carbon into it ever since the Industrial Revolution. Been quite the party ever since, but the bill is due.

Guess you never heard of the "the little ice age".... Also you can't explain what caused it to end. Volcanos and forest fire cause way more issues than man. Climate change has been going on for billions of years. There are no deniers regarding that...there are a lot of people who have been misled and are deniers that climate change happens regardless of man. Look up the little ice age regarding the last major change of climate that had nothing to do with man yet man was here to record it.

p. s. Be very glad the planet warmed up. Cities are sinking faster than sea levels are rising.

Quick answer...NOPE. We contribute much much more than Vulcanism or forest fires (in relatively recent history) If you want to go way back in geologic history about 250 million years or so, the eruption of the Siberian Traps DID and resulted in the Permian Extinction Event (i.e. the great dying), the planet lost 90% of all species during this time. The last time CO2 levels were this high (currently 415ppm approx.) was during the Pliocene and temperature then were from 1.8 to 3.6 degrees higher than our own pre-industrial temps. A little bit more of temp increase will also cause global good drops to fail, shouldn't have to point out the consequences.

Well said.

I just laugh when they have a 40 year model that they want us to believe but are wrong with weather forecasts in shorter timespans...
