Hi, yesterday I updated my DS-2CD2132-I from V5.2.0 build 140721 to V5.4.5 build 170401 thanks for the great tutorial on this forum.

After this I stumbled upon a newer firmware on with a R0 release from 2021-09-21.
Not sure why it came out, could not spot the release notes or comments on this forum, did someone try this firmware?

We're all a bit puzzled by this release.
The many firmware releases with the *.800 version ID have been to deal with the large-scale RCE (Remote Command Execution) vulnerability, but the understanding is that R0 series didn't suffer from that.
A couple of members installed it and didn't notice any differences, so it's a bit of a mystery.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I noticed all of the vulnerability doc's did not mention the DS-2CD2132-I, strange beast. Guess I follow the rule "if it ain't broke do not fix it" for the time being.
