This did happen again for me .. Now I am doing a test as per BI support. What I am doing now is instead of doing sub stream I am just doing the Main stream and took out sub stream completely to see. So far I have not seen it but again as its random I cant say so will let it run for a good week and see if I spot anything..
I Have not seen the issue again since 5.3.8.5

I wanna say it was lot less as I saw one or two off but now lets see with sub stream disable on one of the PTZ if I see it or not its random and hard to troubleshoot.

Update - Its been 4 days - I have disabled sub stream on two cams which were experiencing this buffering often. Strange enough the buffering issues are gone now at-least been 4 days of non stop testing now I cannot see any other buffering and I have actually went up on FPS and bit rate and still no buffering.

Will keep monitoring.

What camera are you using you are having this issue with? Does it auto-track?

Thank you,

Rick

Yes its the PTZs they do auto track one is older model and another one is newer..

However I can confirm it was not the camera as the SD card footage was fine.

I'm seeing this again, as of yesterday. Ver. 17 on a non-PTZ cam.

Hi Looney, Correct it does happen to some of the non ptz cam as well. Try not using a substream and see if this gets any better. I am actually pushing this really now I have a 2mp Cam on 60 fps now without any substream to see if this happens as it definitely happens when I do that with sub stream..
