Hello, I love the forum and often access it on mobile using the Tapatalk app. I've been experiencing some issues recently with incorrect formatting and attachments so I reached out to ask Tapatalk support. They replied saying that the ipcamtalk.com forum is running an older and out of date version of the Tapatalk plugin and many of the reported issues are addressed if the plugin is updated. I first clicked the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of this page, but then noticed it says, " All tech support related inquiries should be posted on the forum" so here I am. If there's a more appropriate place to post this just let me know. Thanks!

Odd, I am using Tapatalk and I only have issues that are associated with a mobile devices as always. There is no way to get around it.
Are you using an ad blocker? I use ADAWAY..

Two of the issues I asked Tapatalk support about are @mentions not being formatted properly for BBCode on the web (the username appears enclosed in mention tags instead of properly linking to the user) and embedded images appearing both in-line in and also duplicated at the bottom as an attachment.

Nope, not running an ad blocker on my phone currently, but thanks for the recommendation! :)

I have never used tapatalk but this forum is using a responsive template which will automatically adjust itself on mobile or tablet breakpoint view.

Tapatalk was popular back in the day before responsive template came into play so I would recommend testing it on your mobile or tablet browser to check it out.

Just a suggestion to give it a shot. :)

@TechBill totally agree, the mobile version of the site works great and I often choose to use it over the Tapatap app at certain times when posting or viewing some media.

However, I still really appreciate the push notifications and alerts I get from the Tapatalk app and some functionality is still a bit faster using the app.

I won't forget the mobile site. :) Thanks for the thoughts!

Thanks for sharing about those extra functionality that tapatalk offers. I did figure that it must had some useful features on tapatalk if folks are still using it now days over the responsive forums.

Thanks @Mike . I never bothered to report any issues, but I noticed with Tapatalk the "like" button doesn't give options (like love, sad, mad...). I wonder if this would be fixed with an update?

Hey @Mike Happy Holidays! Have you been able to update the Tapatalk plugin? I'm still seeing the issues mentioned earlier and want to rule out the plugin version as the problem. Thanks!
