VTO2000A new V4 firmware

Can someone help me to the latest firmware files for VTH1550CH and VTO2000A ?
I followed some links but none of them seem to give me a decent firmware.
I'm under the impression there is a difference in SIP an non-SIP. I'm pretty sure I need the non-SIP files.

Edit: Oh. I'm dutch speaking. So I guess I need the Western-European version. But honestly, any English version is fine for me.

Same as above, I'd like to find latest firmware. I'm currently firmware from 2016 and I do have some issues since a while and would like to take the opportunity to upgrade the firmwares.
I see some firmware talks in previous posts, anyone able to share those VTO/VTH firmwares ? French firmwares preferred but if English, it's ok as well :)

I haven't tested it yet, but I saw that riogrande75 posted the latest files on an other forum.

I noticed that these .bin files are only +-12MB.
Won't I need all these other files included in zips like these?

thank you for the information, well it's SIP firmware so I'm not sure if this is good for my install, maybe I'll wait for another non-sip firmware :)
 
good question, to be honest, I'm used to the 3 year old non-sip firmware I have and I am not familiar with the benefit of the sip firmware version. Can the SIP firmware work standalone without any ip-pbx or whatever app addon ? if yes, then I can probably go with this one but the forum shared is in german and with google translation, I just understood that there were some bugs maybe with previous version and was not sure to understand if the current 201903 version shared was really bug free.

For sip versions you need a SIP server. Lucky, VTO2000A can act as a SIP server by itself (configuration).
But to get the benefit of sip, I hardly recommend asterisk or another server.
I tested 201903 sip firmware on VTO2000A and VTH5221D-W and I don't see a reason why not to go for that one.

Hmz. I can install Asterisk on my Synology. I might look into this. Is using Asterisk only for my Dahua intercom installation interesting? Or isn't it worth it? What are the benefits? Can you point me into the right direction?

Do you also have the non-SIP versions of these files?

No other brand new versions (2019) than this.

Yes, asterisk on synology NAS will work. If you do not have anything beside VTO/VTH it might not be worth using it.
But if you want to call any std. sip phone either at home or worldwide (SIP audio+video), you need asterisk. If you wanna have a special event in case of a visitor (I let my TV switch to the rtsp stream of the VTO), forward the call to voicemail,etc. then you need it.
If you want to send a simple snapshot via push/mail/etc., then I suggest using asterisk.
I could not live without my asterisk :headbang:

Haha. Awesome. You've convinced me! Switching to TV and sending a snapshot via push/mail alone is enough reason for me!
Are there resources or forums with info/help/tutorials on how to configure this?

I'll try to use the internal sip server first then. do you have any tutorials available for these newer sip firmware version ? how to configure them from scratch when coming from old non sip ?

Today I received the following firmwares from Dahua support France, mentioning there would soon be a SIP version release as well ... :

- General_Multi3_VTO2000A_EngItlFreGetDutSpaPor_P_16M_V3.200.0000.0.R.20170912.bin



And the same day those latest versions from my Belgian vendor :

- VTH151X_EngItlFrnGerDutSpnPrt_V4.000.100B000.0.T.20180906 et

- VTOXXX_EngItlFrnGerDutSpnPrt_P_16M_V3.120.001P000.0.T.20181025

My Belgian vendor told me he had the SIP as well if needed, but I have not requested them because I do not know what it is / what added value it will bring
