I've been doing a lot of research and it appears the Dahua NVR5216-16P-4KS2E and N52B3P are the same NVR. I was looking to buy a N52B3P from Empire but they only have the NVR5216-16P-4KS2E. They have the same exact specs from everything I'm seeing. Am I missing something?

The N52B3P is the US version. The other is the International version, Same machine, Comes down to price, warranty, availability..

I have the older version of the NVR and with a firmware update it as been working well for me. I like that I can put 2x 3.5" HDDs in it. ( NVR5216-16P-4KS2, which I also picked up from Andy )

No, although the 5216 is 1U in height, it is not as wide as 19" rack standard. Even more, there are no holes in the side to stick it onto brackets. My 1U 19" switch underneath is used as a foundation to hold the NVR

Thanks! Just ordered a 10" deep tray to set it on in the rack. That should get the job done for me. No, I ordered a 19" wide, 10" deep tray to hold the NVR. That's why I said "deep".
