Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Thanks, I downloaded a copy in case I need to rollback to 171205. At this time, I'll continue to bake in at the 219 build since it's been fairly solid since this afternoon. Beyond that first network disconnect post 219 upgrade, there has been no further abnormal shutdown so far this evening with periodic doorbell test pushes.

Has anyone been to able to use the microphone with blue iris? I can hear using the blue iris app but can’t talk to the person at the doorbell.

Has anyone looked at the difference in features and functions between all the firmware OEMs? I'm using Nelly's and wondering if I should switch to the Hik version.

Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

I have the hikvision version, works fine as integrates with with other poe cameras on my hikvision nbr, only thing i wasnt keen on was the ir nightvision as theres a security light next to doorbell.
When looking at settings on my nvr for the door bell i unchecked the use h264 for initial access option.
Camera now displaying in colour at night although i think from the reflections the ir lights are still turned on

Yesterday, I enabled the Power Booster setting on my doorbell config for fun but couldn't tell any difference. It probably needs that external optional Power Booster unit before any benefits can be realized as my voltage was already at 19V. It's a wait and see till that US power booster unit come out to get more specs.

Anyone have the link for 171219? I want to give it a try but my La View model doesn't show an update being available.

does anyone have a practical review of this other than as a camera?

I’m having trouble wondering why I shouldn’t just run a camera instead.

For me, I already had a dahua camera covering my front yard/porch but wanted a front door camera that just blends in at face detection level to cover where my delivery packages are dropped off and catch any solicitors on my NVR. Many of neighbors have installed the Ring doorbells in the past year so my old fashion doorbell was ready for an upgrade. Having video 2 way communication when rung was a bonus for WAF and I wanted local NVR recording so Ring/others were out of the equation.

Yes, I purchased this RCA variant and upgraded to Hikvision's latest FW. I have it recording fine on my Dahua 4KS2 NVR as I don't have BI yet.

Have you been able to get motion detection alert recording working on your dahua nvr? Do you connect via onvif? I have not been able to get that you work, regular recording is ok though
