Hik NVR DS-7068NI-E2 disappears from Network

Hi All,

First time, post great site.

My issues is that my Hikvision NVR DS-7068NI-E2 disappears from Network and I cannot view on my PC on the network, but can view other devices. Once I reboot NVR it appears and will then disappear after a few hours. Can someone help with a fix please?

How long has it done this?
Does it show on SADP when you cannot view it? Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd.
Did you make any changes that have triggered this behaviour?
What version of firmware is running?

If it's a new purchase, maybe you need to complain to the seller.

Yes does show in SADP, Version 3.4.90, DHCP is enabled, Hik-Connect is disabled

That might be your problem - the address may be changing - you really need to have a static IP address for an NVR, either via a DHCP reservation or a static configuration.

Does the IP address in SADP differ from the IP address that you try to reach it with?

It will probably recur.
I'd lay bets that the IP address varies, as you have it set to DHCP.
