Ok, still trying to get IVS to work on this Starlight since it's not possible through my 5208 NVR. While making some other adjustments with my laptop plugged into a NVR Poe port, I tried to set up IVS Tripwire direct into Starlight without success. I can add the rule but when I try to add the line nothing shows up on the screen, what am I missing?I've just run into the same problem, cannot setup IVS on this camera thru my 5208 NVR. Setup went fine on 4 other Dahua cams but I get the " does not support configuration search or modification" on the starlight.
I've been messaging Andy about another order but I recently discovered IVS and I like it!
Andy is contactable via his AliExpress store, the conversations "PM" feature on these forums or his email kingsecurity2014@163.comcan you find the time to tell me how to buy this camera?
It is. You must be familiar with the process. I would call it a labor of love, but not for me.By themselves? Is it a log cabin?
When I ordered my NVR5216 I forgot to specify to Andy NTSC or does that not make a difference?yes, but it makes no tangible difference..
there is no reason for them to even have NTSC or PAL, they have no analog video hookup. Can these cameras work in both NTSC and PAL whatever you want to flash them with?
Mine are out for delivery!Mail call!
How many did you get?Mine are out for delivery!
Does NTSC vs. PAL change the FPS settings that are available? i.e limit you to 25/50fps vs.30/60fps options?wont make any difference
5 just got delivered, 5 more once Andy gets the rest of his stock gets released. I also got my 10 PFAHow many did you get?
5 showed up today with the mounting brackets and @EMPIRETECANDY is going to send the other 5 as soon as he gets them in. Which based on his recent posts, should be pretty soon (I hope)How many did you get?
time to do dishesMail call!
I agree with you for foot traffic, but higher FPS is handy if you trying to read plates on cars going 35+ mphyeah but that is nearly double what you should be recording with so I stand by my original statement.. 20fps is very generous for security use, anything over 10-15 rarely has any gain and just uses more storage than needed.
