Hey Guys

I have a mini PTZ V2 with S2l chip currently running IPNC_S2l2.0.1_build201606201315 firmware
Out of the box everything worked fine however since upgrading the firmware all the PTZ controls are inverted. As far as I can tell everything else still works fine. I have tried all other firmware versions that I can find on these forums with no luck.

Has anyone else had any similar problems?

Thanks

I believe that's the version that introduced that bug. @klasipca commented on it in one of his threads.
I've not yet seen any newer firmware posted.

Ahh okay, so it is a known issue, If that was the version that introduced it, shouldent rolling back fix it?

You have IPNC_S2l2.0.1_build201606201315
and here is IPNC S2l2.0.1_build201607221508

Sorry, Yeah I am currently running 201606201315 but have tried IPNC S2l2.0.1_build201607221508 previously with no luck.

Thanks, but I have tried all the versions in that thread. Even the older versions seem to have a same problem :/ Have tried upgrading via web interface and the batch control program.
I have a mini PTZ V2 with S2L chip and works well with all these firmware.

I have the same problem, that after updating the firmware the PTZ-Control is reversed in the directions.

The problem stay with the reverse PTZ directions. The zoom works, therefore i didn´t make the Kernel update, correct ?

Has anyone resolved the inverted control issue yet? I'm working with my vendor I purchased the camera from, but being it's China and a 14 hour difference it's hard to get timely answers. On a side note, I first contacted the seller due to the camera constantly rebooting during the day and night. So they sent me a new firmware file once i found out what chipset i had. So i followed their instructions and flash the firmware file and then a kernel file and from there on the past several days the camera ptz controls are inverted. Before contacting the vendor I purchase a poe splitter cable to change from poe to using the external 12v cord on camera. Still have the rebooting issues afterwards. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
