IPC-T2231T-ZS IPC-T2431T-AS 2022 IPC-HX2XXX-Molec_MultiLang_PN_V2.820.0000000.48.R.220614.bin

Hi Andy,

I have a IPC-2231T-ZS purchased last March that will not update with the firmware in this thread.

Just gives a message saying the update package is invalid and the update has failed.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

There has some newer update for this firmware, check the 1st page.

Hey guys

This firmware has some important upgrade, please try to make upgrade to the camera asap.
See page 1 for the download link.

The first file (General_IPC-HX2XXX-Molec_MultiLang_PN_V2.820.0000000.33.R.210705.bin) hangs at "Transmitting files..., please don't leave this page or close the browser..."
This file (General_IPC-HX25(8)XX-Molec_MultiLang_PN_V2.820.0000000.33.R.210705.bin) finishes transmitting but results in "Update package invalid and update failed. Device will reboot immediately."
Any Suggestions?

Use the configtool to finish the upgrading.

Configtool does not detect this camera although it does detect two identical cams on the same network. The problematic camera is accessible and is working fine except for the settings in Camera > Conditions > Day & Night (set at Auto, Medium and 6s) are greyed out and can't be changed.
Do I need to enable some service to for Configtool to detect this cam?

Be sure you are using Internet Explorer to do the update.
Best practices:
1-Set cam back to factory defaults.
2-Update firmware
3-Reset once again to factory defaults.
4-Set camera back up from scratch, not by importing a saved config file.

I tried the file via web browser and configtool software and both fail.

When using configtool I get the message 'wait for try'.

When using web browser it gets stuck on transmitting files.

Have been able to upgrade other model cameras with no issues, seems this specific model sold by Andy might be problematic?

My cameras that I have been able to upgrade to .33.R aren't able to be accessed using the Dahua DMSS app / P2P.

Whereas my cameras still on .16.R can still be accessed in the DMSS app / P2P.

Is this a bug? Or caused by new settings?

I have the same problem, can't update IPC-T2431T-AS with neither firmware.

I had an issue with one of my cameras, it failed upgrade in Firefox, just got stuck after submitting file in web UI. Network inspector showed that it just uploaded part of the file, it seemed. Switched to Chromium, and it worked directly.

Weird thing though, worked perfectly fine for some identical cameras.

The best browser to use with Dahua cameras is IE which is baked in to Win10. Just type "explorer" in the search box on the tool bar.

I still can't update my cameras. It still hangs on "transmitting files".
Yes, I've factory reset the cameras. I tried chromium, internet explorer, chrome. from windows 10 as well as linux.
