UPDATE


1.This version fixes some bugs，improves the product performance, and strengthens product security on the basis of the last version.
2. Live view lags caused by overload metadata.
3.Optimized strings of web client.

Hi Andy, did you already give me this version of firmware? Now i see 2 versions of firmware, one says DH the other is General, both have the same numbers, but slightly different file sizes, What's the difference? I'll wait to see if i need to upgrade, it looks the same and I dont want to brick my camera. (see below):

IPC-HDW2231R-ZS also have a new firmware, i will add on another posting soon.

Installed this on my T2431T-AS without any issues. It also fixed an issue with the previous firmware where I wasn't able to get 4mp picture unless I selected H264B as the codec.

Has anyone experienced any issues with this firmware?

I can't login to the camera on chrome, - it just sits on the username password screen (it does fail if the password is wrong).
- Interestingly I can login using Safari but the interface seems bogged down and super slow.

I've tried resetting the camera (IPC-HDW2231T-ZS-S2) - didn't help.

Is there newer firmware or am I able to go back to the older firmware? if so how?
 
I've had problems with WDR not working at all in BW on my camera and barely doing anything on color. IPC-HDW2231TN-ZS-S2. I've reset it and entered everything from scratch again also. If I run another mode like BLC and it switches to BW from color it shows everything dark like it didn't work there either. I can manually set it in BW and then it will lighten properly. Not happy at all with the picture quality of this cam compared to my IPC-T5241H-AS-PV which is fantastic

I'm having an issue with this firmware and IVS events not triggering. Brand new Loryta IPC-T2431T-AS bought from Amazon store.
Has there been any further update, or does anyone else have this problem? Andy I know things are crazy over there right now but if you can offer any advice I'm all ears.
 
Got IVS events working now that it's installed in a proper location but still having an issue; camera crashes and reboots if I set the main stream to any higher than 2304x1296.
This is a minor but annoying problem because it's resulting in a green bar at the top of my recordings. I did the usual procedure of factory reset, apply firmware, factory reset twice now.

Please let me know if there's any further info I can provide.
 
I would like too update my IPC-T2431T-AS. It just arrive from andy, but IVS is not working, and some other small things. Soo i thought i should take a look for new firmware. I found the one attached to the docx document. I'm trying to update my camera but the loading screen stays the same. See attachement.

Edit: got it working for a couple of days now. Firmware is running stable since the update.

Dahua has some new update for this camera.

Please use the dropbox link in the attached file to download and flash, dahua has too many NEW series, the firmware names are very simliar, so any wrong update will kill the camera, please follow the list that we post here to make update. I will try to make it as easier as we can, and will keep updating the support list here.

I followed the link in the .docx to Dropbox and downloaded the only file there, General_IPC-HX2XXX-Molec_MultiLang_PN_V2.800.0000000.10.R.191123.bin, and tried to upgrade a Loryta IPC-T2431T-AS purchased from @EMPIRETECANDY 's Amazon store. The upgrade failed showing 'Update package invalid and update failed. Device will reboot immediately'.

System Version says:
V2.800.0000000.9.R, Build Date: 2019-11-15

Any suggestions?

Contact me via DM, the IPC-T2431T-AS has 2 versions, the first batch use another firmware, the latest new stocks use the firlware that i posted here.

I don't know if it is the firmware or the camera, but http://[camip]/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi doesn't work on it, but does work on my other two hdw2231's that are using "V2.800.0000004.0.R, Build Date: 2019-01-22"

If it's a firmware issue, any info on an update?
 
Same here.
After installing V2.800.0000000.10.R, Build Date: 2019-11-23 (coming from V2.800.0000000.3.R, Build Date: 2019-08-16) ONVIF snapshotting doesn't seem to work correctly anymore.
 
Just update the firmware into the latest new one, guys can go there to make downloading.

This new firmware System Version: V2.800.0000000.14.R, Build Date: 2020-02-29 solved the ONVIF snapshot problem.
After succesfully installing the 14.R firmware, and defaulting the settings afterwards, it works again!
The 14.R firmware can be found in the startpost of this thread with link in de worddocument.
