Zone detection A>B?

How to solve this?

The entrance to our house starts at the sidewalk, and through a driveway where the cars are parked, there are a small wall to, its the problem.

I have 3 zones:
A is sidewalk.
B is a bit inside the driveway.
C covers A and B.

I detect well in both zones A and B! but the person who walk from A to B must pass a wall and here the person is invisible!
BI miss the detection in the middle, and no trigger...

How do I fix it, without removing the wall :-)
 
Deepstack can absolutely be installed on a 6th gen. You do not need an internal graphics GPU - there is a CPU version of Deepstack.

There is Deepstack that is integrated within BI (simple download of the CPU version of Deepstack) or you could go the docker route with AI tools or some other 3rd party application that uses Deepstack. But the BI/Deepstack integration is the easiest to get going.

Many here run Deepstack on a 4th generation.

Just don't get carried away LOL.

Or as someone else said upgrade to a camera with built in AI.

Hmm you say my i5-6500 can run DS and BI without problem?
Its a small HP server with SD disk and 8G ram.

BI must still handle my 4 3Mpixel cam. Today it run with a 17-25% CPU load, RAM is no problem.
 
A member here runs 50 cameras on a 4th generation at 30% CPU.

It is clear you are not optimized because 4 cams should be sub 5% on that unit.

I suggest you first do EVERY optimization in the wiki. Do not skip something thinking it isn't important. Substreams and direct to disc are a must.

Then after that you will be more than capable to run it without problem. May want to consider adding more RAM, but you might get by with 4 cams.

You need to use substreams. Absolutely zero downside to it. If there were, none of us would be using it. It will bring your CPU usage down by at least a factor of 5.
 
Use HikVision cam, i will try with substream.
If BI only have the substream to detect on hmmm.
What setting suggested for substrean.
Now i use 10fps and H264 about 3000bps. on all 4 cam.
 
Most of us use D1 substream and 256 bitrate.

You will need to enable the substream in the camera first. Then go to BI and hit find/inspect. And then about halfway down on the BI camera setup page will be a dropdown to select the substream.

All ready have setup substream on the cam:-)

But will BI only use the substream to detect?
I have understand it record from the main stream...
 
Yes, it will use the substream to detect. And if it were an issue, none of us would use it.

When it is triggered, it will then record mainstream.

With substream on my 4 cam and the adjustment as in the wiki, 4-7% cpu load, when running at service and using my app on android to access it.

Mainstream: 1920x1080, constant, FR:12, BitRate:3072, Encodning: H264, IFrames:20
Substream: 704x576, constant, FR:12, BitRate:512, Encodning: H264, IFrames:20

I will try DeepStack on the computer too.
