ZMODO ZP-NC18-S NVR and hikvision ds-2cd2132

does anyone have any experience using zmodo nvr or cameras? I have been asked a question regarding connecting a Hik 2132 to the nvr, the person is using a poe switch but the nvr is not picking up the camera?

any ideas that I can tell them to try?

i had a quick search on Google and all I seem to can work out that ZMODO is a cheap Chinese brand?

Does the NVR support ONVIF or Generic RTSP?
Either of these should work with a 2132 camera, though it depends on how much detail the NVR requires.
Full details of the camera can be obtained by using the very good Windows tool 'ONVIF Device Manager' from sourceforge.net
