Zmodo And BI

Welcome to the forum....the cams may not work standalone....however you should be able to pull the streams from the NVR..try the Zmodos from the drop down list..
As far as the cams..see if you can pull login to them when the are connected to the network...if so they may be sending an rtsp stream, but its hard to know..

Thanks, Fender. Fellow music man? :)

How does it work when you pull from an NVR? Can you only see 1 camera?

thx

bob

yes, music man :)
No there is a separate stream for each cam..you can select the camera in blue iris (in the setup page where you select the NVR you can choose camera 1,2,3 etc

Got it hooked up. Can view separate cams and nvr in a browser but BI won't see any of them. tries all the zmodo presets, using port 8000, no go!

thx

bob

You must have a setting wrong...check ip address, port, username, password....
Confirm the rtsp port on the zomodo itself..
looks like you should be using the zomdo ZH/ZMD option...

How do I confirm the rtsp port on the zomodo itself?

thx

Looks like a post got delete. I'm able to view cameras using the IP Cam Viewer app on my phone. In and out of my local network. Ports are open and working.

bob

Are you 100% cetain about the ip address and ports? There should be a network settings page in the zmodo that should list the info..

Positive, Like I said, the settings work fine in IP Cam Viewer, in and out of my local network; port 8000 is listed as the port for the video stream and is what works logging in on IE.

thx

try using port 8000 as the rtsp stream and see if it works....ipcam viewer may be pulling the video in a different manner...

So, try every zmodo option in the pull down menu using http port 8000 media/video/rtsp and port: 10554 and attempt auto-configure on http, rtsp and port: 8000?

thx for your help

bob

edit: Tried the above, no go
