excellent I have been working towards your image quality, lots of trial and error. I will try some of your setting to see if I can get images close to yours

Need a better shutter speed and more zoom if you can

I think that second picture highlights you need more FPS and bitrate too

I just changed the zoom to max 1200 which puts my focus at 300. I tried to sent a screen shot of my video settings but it did not go through.. resolution 1920, frame rate 15, bit rate type cbr , bit rate 8192 frame rate int 15

Curious, are you using auto focus or manual? Also,IR is set to max?

manual setting on the focus and ir is max. vehicles come into frame at approx 120 feet from camera

Try up the FPS to 30 and the bitrate to the max, and then dial it back once you get things where you think they are good

Are you using the Day and Night utility? My day settings vary a lot from the night settings

yes I have it on a schedule and my day time is perfect and my setting for day are very different from my night., I just am having difficulty dialing in the nighttime. I had to change location a couple times and start from scratch. Neighbors bought a new beautiful motorhome and I had to move my camera.

Change the speed on the focus screen to 1. At 20 it is making big swings in focus numbers.
