YCC365 Plus Don't buy it

For anyone considering the YCC365 Plus ip cam for local (non-cloud) use, don't. It can't be configured without the "app" and once its firmware automatically updates, all the local streaming services stop working. It's very inexpensive ($13) on aliexpress and includes night vision and PTZ. Maybe one could register it and then immediately uninstall the app and never run it again and continue to use it via onvif/rtsp but I'm not going to.

I get the YCC365 Plus IP-Camera in november 2024 from Ali.

The model is XHR-1620P-color-plug

On the label is:
YCC365 Plus: HD Smart Camera
Model: XYS-Y03D
Vendor: Xy-IP

iSpy say: rtsp:/ /admin:admin@[IP-Adress]/live/ch00_0

It works with VLC in W10 very well!

@mikeinmaine, there's a Black Friday Deal on Amazon where the indoor TP-LINK Tapo C-110 is only $16 which is 50% off here. You set up with an app but then it does NOT need the app or cloud and can stream RTSP to Blue Iris or VLC. It's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only and is powered by a UL-listed 9VDC wall wart. I've got 2 of them, makes a great pet cam or some other non-critical monitoring camera, sets up and installs quickly.

It provides 1 way audio to BI or VLC but 2-way audio when using the TP-LINK app on smartphone or tablet.

That's a good deal. I have several Tapo cams in my house already. That's what I settled on after the disappointment with Aliexpress cams.
