Won't power on after reboot?!

I was resetting my LAN configuration on my DS-7616NI-SE/P (HIKVISION), and rebooted the machine to get the changes to take effect. The system powered down (blue light to red light)...and never powered back on. I tried
- pressing the power button
- holding down the power button
- switching off/on the power supply

...but the unit still won't power on. I'm still getting a solid red light...and after I power cycle the machine it generates its normal "beeping" sound which goes away after pushing the power button.

Help?! Hoping for an easy answer.

Can you see it on the network with SADP?
Do you have a monitor connected to the VGA/HDMI output, if so what shows on power-up eg the Hikvision logo?

fixed! and i'm feeling extra silly.

the problem: the fascia was ever-so-slightly opened up on the left side. without a tight contact, the system wouldn't turn on. #checkthesmallstufffirst
