Thieves and scumbags exist everywhere and have no political allegiance...the sad fact is, their numbers appears to be on the rise.
I'm not sure if bad behavior is on the rise, or if I've just grown less tolerant of it. Just ten minutes ago, I was driving to work, and a guy driving a large truck stopped at a stop sign in front of me. Rather than proceeding, he opened his door and poured out what may have been a bottle of piss. Whatever, the thing that bugged me was that he didn't care that he was holding up the people behind him. His life is so important, and he's so "entitled", that he doesn't have to worry about inconveniencing others. A small thing, but an example of the lack of consideration that bugs me more these days than I think it might have in years gone by.
And if they tried, they'd be banished to the desert, forest, tundra, etc or worse when the group got tired of their BS.
That's an interesting point. Perhaps people's behavior
is actually getting worse. If someone was banished for being lazy and greedy, their genes and epigenetics would have been removed from the gene pool back through human history. Today, large populations mask, and many social systems tolerate, or even reward such behavior.
It's like a lot of us. We're so blind that back in cave-man days, we'd have probably died without reproducing. But now, we've got glasses and contacts, and Lasic, etc., so the genes for crummy eyesight are not "weeded out".
That saber-tooth tiger won't sneak up on me, not when I'm wearing my glasses!
