I was just about to post this -
Its supposed to be two back to back storms - one closing in one Christmas and has the potential to unleash a White Christmas even in the Northeast

That was a bone chilling boner

I'm just south of you. Our temperatures are a little higher so we are expecting some much needed rain.

Now they (Rapid City NWS) are saying 9 ~ 15 inches for us...

Houston Texas in the low 70s for the next few days. The AC is on. I was walking the dogs in shorts and sandals today. :):)
I do not do snow shovels.

Here in Florida I’m ready for winter to finally arrive. Wearing shorts and T-shirt’s this time of the year is silly!

So, now the National Weather Service has us at 11 to 19 inches. The Northern edge of the Black Hills --- 21 to 29 inches!! :O
(btw-- WU held tight to their forecast-- changing it from 17.8 to 18.9)

Has anyone ever PRE-TREATED sidewalks with salt? Seems to be the new rage.... may try it this afternoon, as this is all supposed to start with some fun freezing rain.

Calcium Chloride. Dont use rock salt unless you like the pitted concrete look.
And we are dealing with a misty cold rain.... it's pretty dark at mid-day, and the air is just THICK.

We are sitting at 33 degrees. When it drops down below freezing, I am going to hit everything with that CC ice melt.
