Windows 10, version 22H2.

Did anyone counter problems with this this W10 22H2 update ? My BI did not start at all after that.
I tried to start the BI service, it didn`t start either, there came some error message that I didn`t
take snapshot of..
Actually there came also two security updates also, didn`t take snapshots of them either..
At the moment there is process of recovering to a restore point 23.12.2022, I hope it helps.
Just asking if somebody have had same problems ?

If your BI machine is setup on a secure network, and it is not used for anything else, as it shouldn't be, then it is advised to turn off Windows updates to prevent such problems.
Also suggested to turn off BI automatic updates as well.

My BI desktop upgraded to 22h2 a few weeks ago and I’ve not had or noticed any issues.

As I understand it on Win10-Pro you use the Group Policy Editor to prevent updates, and on WIn10-Home you use the Registry Editor. The exact procedure can be found elsewhere. What I don't understand is how 21H1 differs from 22H2.

It is simply the most recent update version. If your computer has an older Windows release and no issues, it's not worth the upgrade

Nope both are Win10. Win10 is still getting support until October 2025. 22H2 is just the next update to Win10.

Windows 10 and windows 11 both use the same version naming but they use different build numbers.

Eg. Windows 10 22H2 build 19045.2546
Windows 11 22H2 build 22621.1194
