I don't know. I think they probably expect lightning strikes, but there's only so much you can do to dissipate that amount of energy.
There are 12 turbines on the site and more recently one set on fire (not from a lightning strike).
I also took a snapshot of when they were fitting new internals(?) and blades to one of the turbines.
Must be a nightmare scheduling the work for when it's not too windy.

Ya, the cranes they use are pretty wild. I live in an area where there are hundreds of turbines near me, and growing daily.
