I have a Hikvision DS-7208HGHI-SH with 8 analog cameras. The spec says I can add 2 IP cameras. Will the Network Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I work?

That unit will only support 1080p ip cameras. The 2342 might work if you set it to 1080p, however you are much better off buying a 1080p camera (they have 1080p turret) which will produce better low light vision.
