HI M Azeem a regular IT guy from the city of multan, Pakistan. we're using ISP PTCL (Pakistan TeleComunication Limited) they provided us with huawei (HG150-Ub ) router.
This sucker isn't forwarding i've tried every shwon methods on youtube and other forms as well. but when you check port it says it's closed.

PS: i wanted to create a FTP server and a VPN server.

help guys...

port forward not recommended, but in that case, call PTCL tech support. They should be able to assist, either connecting remotely or at their side

You may be behind the ISP's CGNAT or they may be blocking certain ports.

Alternatively, you can probably use Tailscale or Zerotier.

Some ISP's actively block ports used by certain services unless you explicitly allow them on your account.
Some other ISP's block then unless you pay for a business grade account.

If your ISP uses CGNAT then you don’t get an IPv4 IP that you can use to port forward so you have 3 main options, first is to ask the ISP to move you, second is to use either Zerotier or Tailscale ( which is what I personally use, the last is to setup a VPN so that you can VPN into your home network.
