The NIC's on my cameras are only 10/100 so I went with this one. Note the 120W load it can service. I just used a $12 (on sale @ monoprice) Gig switch in front of it to allow gig ethernet to the rest of my infrastructure where I installed the PoE switch. This switch is doing a fine job for me right now.

I'll throw out the linksys lgs308p. It's very compact which was something I was picky about when looking. Also gigabit.
