What the Flock is going on here!

I remember back at our other house, the HOA sent out a letter about installing cameras at the Entrances of our subdivision. We all voted it down. It is all about who controls the footage and what they are using it for. They did not even have a plan about this nor a maintenance plan, they also wanted to go up on HOA dues too.
I am all about sharing footage with LE if a crime was committed. But it should be our choice to do so, not forced like these Flock CAMS, IMO.
I see these Flock CAMs as mass surveillance. I see our movements/footage being possibly sold like our online search/shopping history. Next will be Social Credit System like China...

At some point they will also know what places you visit, WHO you visit and who that person you just visited visits themselves, if you attend a church and what denomination or affiliation that church is and so on and so on ad nauseam.
Sorry, but the outrage over flock is humorous. Your car tracks you everywhere you go, speed, etc.. Your phone, which everyone willingly carries, knows more about you than you know about yourself.
Guess where all this information from your phone goes? It tracks what you say. WHere you go. What you purchase. Who you are with, etc... etc... etc...
The government spys you on the daily. They're just not as obvious at it as other countries. Don't think this forum is tracked?
The only way you're not going to be spied on is if you live in a cabin in the middle of nowhere, completely off the grid. No car built in the last 40 years. No phone. No computer. No electricity. Nothing.
Even then you're still go have the government, etc.. keeping track on you via other ways.

Yep, Santa Claus's worst nightmare. They know when he himself is snoring and when he is awake, farting.
Tracking is one thing, watching us is another. I agree we have been tracked every since cell phones and prior I guess. Yes the newer vehicles have tracking. Computers, well what can I say, we are still able to control the amount of tracking that happens. But all those are by companies and it is not easy for LE or Courts to get that data.
Yes, we all know NSA and what they can track, heck you forgot the spy drones circling over us with CAMs that can zoom down to the foot.
These Flock CAMs are the icing on the cake, IMO. This is tracking is with Video, none of which the others do, well unless you have a hacked WebCAM or a new 2027 vehicle with a CAM watching you drive. Yes I have heard of hacking that turns On your phones CAM.
Guess I am not at that point of throwing in the towel...no one is to blame except us, we allowed this Tech. into our lives, our homes...hardly anyone questioned it. Now look where we are today...China 2.0

I don't have any Alexa / Smart Home devices (especially voice assistants), Siri is disabled. I don't want perverted Jeff Bezos invading privacy.

We use to have Google Speakers in our other home, not this new home. But our Android (Google) phones are listening to us. Really would like to know how, if possible to control the mic on these phones...

An error from a Flock camera lead to a tense exchange with Plymouth police officers and an innocent man they thought had stolen a car.

A little off subject, I had a Block Buster of a dream. It woke me up too. Was somewhere with my truck and a woman jumped in the driver seat while I was outside of it and stole it. I somehow got to the police station and she was there too. I was shouting that is the woman who stole my truck. The police asked can I prove it was mine. I told them I paid cash for it and it is registered in my name. They said no it is registered in her name. She even retitled it in her name. It ended with me watching her drive my truck away while I got an harassment charge that the lady filed on me.
Wild dream. I have heard of people changing Deeds to properties in their name. Guess maybe they can do this with vehicles too. I remember in the dream the cops said it is now a civil matter and they could not do anything to help me. One lady cop did slip me a piece of paper with the lady's name and address on it, which I am sure was fake. Crazy...
Ok wild dream, nightmare, but these Flock CAMs are already being abused like the lady that stole my truck. Since pretty much all our Data is out there and now video too, just opens up Doors that never should be opened, IMO...
Funny how I am analyzing my dream now, lol, could this actually happen, so figured I was set up, the lady had the title changed a month before as well as registration, online these days. She, hired by my Ex, hahahaha, knew when I would be at a location to jump in my truck to steal it.
