what is the difference b/n SD29204S-GN vs SD29204T-GN-W

I suspect the S-GN version is an old discontinued version with a slightly different sensor.

Right, S is he older model. And the one with W at the end stands for Wifi. This one includes wifi and is not PoE capable, so you'll need a separate power supply.
