If given a choice i would pick a day setting for night time capture on a cam as long as there was enough light to allow decent capture, my question i guess is how much light is required at night to give a Hikvision camera a good and clear useful image also running at a resolution that does not produce blur
I have an issue with IR in that although it does illuminate areas, faces are largely over exposed resulting in little recognizable detail
The answer would also depend on the given area, small area/large area
If some of you have set up Hiks for day mode at night what sort of lighting have you installed ??
Im hoping a few of you will school me on this one, i am pretty sure Kawboy is a fan of plenty of light at night as apposed to IR
