What hardware is the Eagle cam?

Hey,

I just came across the eagle cam, I'll try and post a link here, not sure if it is allowed

If not, just google south florida eagle cam, its basically a cam placed over a nest watching for some eagle eggs to hatch

The resolution seems quite good, and it seems like it has PTZ and it works at night too.

Does anyone know which cams these may be? Or what specs?

I want to put something similar at my parents horse stables as well

Read the FAQ on their web site ...

"What kind of camera is it?
The cameras for the 2016-2017 season are Axis PTZ."

But the exact model is not specified.

The quality is good but not out of standard, I mean many cams can reach this quality especially during daylight.

How do they manage to host so many viewers? Is that all about bandwidth?

They upload the feed to YouTube and it handles all the visitors; thats nothing to Google.

The physical site just needs enough upload speeds to get the video to youtube.
