what compression to use 264 or 265? smartcode why or not why

Smartcode is always on in our systems...

Some products still can only do H.264
Some products which can do H.265 are unable to do more advanced features when encoding H.265 ( perhaps the developers have not had time to update the other features to handle H.265 )
