So I've got the cameras working fine, but should I be more detailed in the stream profiles in Blue Iris for EmpireTech 5442T-ZE cameras?

Right now I have the following:

Make: Dahua
Model: *Main Stream RTSP
Main:(default)
Sub:(default)

Media/video/RTSP port: 554
Discovery/ONVIF port 8999

ONVIF source: VideoSource_1 VideoSource_1

Thank you!

Simply type in you IP address, username and password and hir the find/inspect button and let BI find the proper profile.

It will probably find generic and that is OK.

But they should come in as:

  • Main Stream: /cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0
  • Sub Stream: /cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1

They they match with the following added to the end "&authbasic={AUTH64}"

Yeah some of mine do that as well. As long as the camera is working fine in BI, I would leave it be.
