Hey guys, I didn't know where to post this, but I'm looking for a camera for my friend. She only needs one static camera for inside her apartment. She like the easy setup of the dropcam/nestcam but doesn't want to pay monthly or yearly fees.
She has tasked me with this job. I did an install of hikvision last summer that had poe hikvision cameras with hikvsion nvr.
Now I don't think nvr set up would work for her. She has limited space in her apartment and her router is next to her TV. My NVR has poe switch built in and the fan is pretty loud. So the loud fan wont work in living room.
She will access the camera from her phone or her ipad. she is not that tech savy. And she doesn't care about the cloud, She's fine with having the recordings on a microsd card in the camera too.
So what are my options?
