Love watching Steve and the many cases he brings awareness to. Unfortunately America has abused the whole concept of capitalism! 
Anytime I’ve had to travel abroad I buy every known travel insurance with the extras and maximum coverage possible. I even buy the plane death insurance if available from the specific carrier.
All of the above is paid with a credit card and their coverage is increased while away.
Having seen people receive $50K ~ million dollar U.S. hospital bills from out of country that isn’t something I want to risk!
An extra $150.00 on a two week trip isn’t anything vs the above.
