weird ir problem DS-2CD2342WD-I and ivms4500

I have 2 DS-2CD2342WD-I.
i can view both cams on computer, but when i try from ivms4500 one of the cams looks like its turning off the irleds ( in night), and back on, so the picture goes black and then fades back to normal.
The other is working fine all the time.
Anyone have an idea what this could be?

ntenz...assuming you have a "Western Region" 2CD2342WD-I (look for "WR" in your camera's serial number)...

OK. I just received this Western Region camera from AliExpess...

Firmware Version V5.3.3 build 150630
Encoding Version V7.0 build 150609

The camera was running POORLY: Sluggish...then responsive...then un-responsive...then non-responsive! Yikes...this suQs thought I.

So I downloaded the firmware for the model CMIP3142W-28S (file name: IPC4_V5.3.2_150915v2.zip), firmware version: "IPC4_V5.3.2_150915v2" from the LTS website. I crossed my fingers and uploaded to the camera (System > Maintenance > Remote Upgrade).

And all fixed. The camera now responds SMOKING FAST and the problems previously experienced are no more.

I'll tell you though...pushing that "Upgrade" button was a leap of faith!

But PLEASE think this through before you try this and NO COMPLAINTS if YOU brick your camera as result.

I tried that yesterday but I didn't like the image quality. In nightmode there was a weird noise in the light parts of the image.

Yes i have WR cams, both are, same firmware 5.3.3 150630, but i have just seen this blinking happening on one of them. i see in the other thread that there is a new firmware from hik, that they haven't released, V5.3.3 build 150812. i will give that a try, hopefully it wont brick my cam

Did you find a fix? I have the exact camera, software and problem you experienced.

There is a firmware fix for the issue. There are two threads that discuss it. Hopefully you have a US region camera. DO NOT try updating a china region camera before reading the threads with instructions.
