I've had this Hikvision OEM NVR for about two months. I picked up two 8TB WD Purple drives for it. I only use it for LPR storage. Anyway, I was having some service work done and the power to the house was turned off without me being there to shut everything down properly. When power was turned back on, I had an error with one of the hard drives.
Since the HHD is only about two months old, I figured that it might be something else. I've swapped SATA and power cables around with the good drive. Swapped SATA ports on the NVR motherboard, deleted and tried re-initializing and everything points to the drive being bad. Here's the kicker...I put it in my windows PC and I can format it and it works fine.
Is there a setting on the HDR I'm missing? Any ideas are appreciated.
