WDR PTZ CAMERA PROBLEMS (firmware ? )

For your information i have done some tests this weekend with the Hikvision DS-2DF8236I-AELW PTZ DOME
And sometimes there is problems with WDR. When i change the image program sometimes WDR doesn’t activate alone , i have to disable and enable it to have good image quality.
Perhaps a problem with the new firmware ?

On the first movie you can see the camera is moving to low luminosity mode program and street preset (mode with WDR ON)
but as you can see the image quality is dark , the WDR have not been triggered by the program , i have to disable and enable WDR manually to have good image quality (image program is buging )
After this i have good image quality :

Very strange i have this after uploaded new firmware to my dome.

This isn't a very common camera here so will be hard for most of us to try and diagnose successfully.

What did Hikvision support say? This is a good write up so if they can't help this then.... well....

I don't have this issue on my non-Hik domes so I can only assume it's software.

Hi Bick,
i have several 8223 in use, latest FW should be 5.4.71, dated 09.03.17. maybe a first starting point. however, i do not have these kind of weirdness. what are the other settings concerning the picture?

A technician from HIKVISION is connected directly to my camera to make some tests i will let you informed.

Other settings are by default.

Done a movie today to explain the problem more clearly



As you can see on my video when I activate the WDR option
and I turn it off, the picture gets dark and remains dark. I have to reboot the
camera to get the original image not dark.
