Wd purple vs Wd purple NV

Hello all
I'm running a 7716 NVR with 6 - 3mp hiks
Was wanting to add more cameras 4mp,wanting to add a second drive too,I was just wondering if there's any benefit with the "wd purple nv" over the regular purple drive.

NV series is if your running >8 Disks in the same chassis, so for you.. its a total waste of money.
