I need to replace a wall-mount indoor cam. I can only wall-mount and the cam will be mounted @7' looking out over a room 25' X 25'. I need POE, onvif, ir, 3-4 meg, ptz or pt and firmware upgradable. I use BI. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I looked at those. They are not very inconspicuous. I thought a dome cam if there was enough tilt to be able to image the entire room.

Thanks.

I thought I read that the re-brands you mentioned are not firmware up-gradable.

Not the case for the Annke models; See the Cliff Notes in the Wiki for the details.

for that room i would likely use the Dahua IPC-HDBW4231F-AS in the 3.6mm lens at one or two corner walls. If you are set on wanting PTZ i would try out the new SD1A203T-GN, if you want IR or the D12203T-GN if you do not need it.

I wouldn't advise wall mounting the SD1A203T-GN or the D12203T-GN.
