The jagged edges on my Dahua 5442 and 2431 cams when viewing the live feed drives me a bit nuts. I have changed the video scaling setting on the console settings to bilinear and it looks sooo much better when viewing there. Despite some reports, in my case it appeared to have no real impact on CPU usage. The thing is that my server is headless and I only access it via RDP to change settings on the console. I view, export and playback through the UI on port 81 on a local computer. The UI still seems to show these jagged edges. I can't seem to find any such setting for that - is there one??
