Trying to figure out if it's my CPU or network. There are 3 cameras in the front of the house that covers the 3 angles. Whenever a car drives by, one of the camera has a major delay. The vehicle would be long and gone and I'm still seeing the image jittering across one one particular camera.

Sounds like cpu.

Login to the camera directly, and view the live view. Does it do it on the webgui?

If you can I woulf also try viewing the stream on something like VLC. For my case VLC gives me the best playback so I can tell if its the network or my aging hardware.

confirmed that it's my system needing update. live view is nice and smooth. The time when things stall is when that one camera draws its object triangle and trigger motion

wanted to give an update on this issue... after looking at my settings, I discovered that the delayed camera was the only one i forgot to configure "Direct to Disk" recording. After I set this, the delay went away.
