Yeah nice new feature of "crashing the app" added too. Was perfectly ok before installing this patch and now my app on a windows 8 machine crashes multiple times a day.

I'm running Win 8.1 64bit and have not had any problems with this version.

Are you running 4.0.4.3?
You should not be updating your system unless there is a new feature that you need or your system is having problems...
always keep the update file for the old version so you can restore to an earlier state.
