Vera Smart Home Controller Integration

I know a while back someone created a plug-in for Vera. My question is there Smart Home Integration interest out there with BlueIris and Z-wave controllers so when the camera catches motion it can signal the controller to turn on lights, etc.?

It's been forever since I've looked at Vera. There's integration for Home Assistant and you can pass messages with MQTT. Can pretty much do whatever you want from there. I also have some simple integrations working through Alexa to do exactly what you describe... camera in my shed detects motion, it turns on a Hue light there.
