Experimenting with a remote-controlled 2-axis gimbal, fitted with a thermal monocular, for hunting purposes.

I like to use a remote-mounted thermal monocular for scanning, whilst hunting. The monocular streams live to a display in the vehicle. Ordinarily, I have manually maneuver the monocualar to scan for targets.

I found this unusual gimbal and thought it might be a much cheaper option than splashing out around 8-10k for a dedicated vehicle-mounted system.

Priced around $300 USD it might just work. What could possibly go wrong.......
