No idea what the damn purpose of that is. Is it supposed to protect AI development in the US? 10th amendment comes to mind here.
OTOH... I guess a comparison could be made with car manufacturing. California forces their bullshit into that process and the whole country winds up paying for it. Hmmmm.

I truly feel bad for the young couple who lost their lives and their families.. It was a tragic hate crime.
That said
They are blowing this up like nothing I've seen.
Every single Cabinet member has gone out of his/her way to post multiple times about it, Pam, who had been in hiding, has been on TV non-stop.
They are using this for an agenda. (which is just as bad as the original crime)
First it will be pushing the hate crime angle, soon it will be hate speech and "cracking down" on said speech online.
All of the usual paid Republican shills are post8ng non stop about it.
This is what they've been waiting to exploit. They're all owned. Its sickening

Florida was in the process of passing legislation to monitor AI, Trump and Susie Wiles his CoS, HATE DeSantis and have been trying to do all they can to support legislation and legislatures against him.
It takes away the rights of States, its not ever been a good thing in our country's history.
