You know what doesn't make sense? All these years you have neighboring Muslim-dominant countries complaining about terrorism, but they never got together to eradicate terrorism. They write on social media how they have feelings for their brothers and sisters faced by war and scar marks by these terrorist organizations, but yet they all felt it was better to have western countries handle the situation. The decision to GTFO of Afghanistan was spot on, but we could have avoided an abrupt process and stage the exit in phases while at the same time ensuring the safety of the people. This is beyond a humanitarian crisis, this shit was planned all along, but it still horrifies me as to how international intelligence failed to see this coming. Its almost driving by a sleeper car only for the sleeper car to put the floor to the pedal and speed on. :(

ONE FOR HISTORY BUFFS THAT I BET YOU DID NOT KNOW

In 1975, President Ford was left to manage the difficult ending of the Vietnam War. President Ford went to Congress for a relief package to allow American personnel and our allies to evacuate. However, there was ONE US SENATOR who opposed any such support. The result was the embarrassing and hurried evacuation from the roof of the American embassy in Saigon

This senator reveled in the embarrassment and did everything he could to leverage it politically against Ford. Despite the efforts of this U.S. Senator--President Ford managed to rescue 1,500 South Vietnamese allies prior to the country's fall. Had President Ford not acted quickly, these people would have been targeted and slaughtered for their support for America . When they arrived in America , President Ford asked Congress for a package to assist these refugees to integrate into American society.

That SAME troublesome SENATOR TORPEDOED ANY SUPPORT for these shell shocked, anti-communist, Americans and our helpers, the refugees.

Instead, President Ford had to recruit Christian organizations to offer assistance on a voluntary basis. As he did so, the Senator belittled those efforts. What kind of person would oppose President Ford's tireless work to do the right and humanitarian thing? Who would want to play politics with the well-being of innocent people who stood by America in the tragic Vietnam War?

THAT SENATOR WAS JOE BIDEN

Did a total-altering algorithm run in Maryland’s 2020 election?
https:/baltimorepostexaminer.com/analysis-suggests-algorithm-maryland-2020-election/2021/08/17

Baltimore Post Examiner said:
ROCKVILLE, MD – August 17, 2021 – The Maryland Voter Integrity Group announces today that recent mathematical analysis uncovers the possibility that an algorithm ran during the 2020 Election.

In addition to the anomalies discovered in four Maryland counties previously, another discrepancy was noted in the state’s election results by a PhD candidate who has worked extensively in Cybersecurity and related engineering fields, including at Sandia National Laboratories.

Utilizing a combination of complex data mining techniques and publicly available data, Maryland shows a single ‘drop’ of a large number of votes at 11:15pm on Election Day. In just over four minutes, this led to a total of almost 200% higher vote counts than all of the votes received prior to this point. Even more puzzling:

These votes had almost 100% greater percentage totals for Biden than the cumulative votes percentage prior to this “drop.” The Trump vote percentage was 400% lower.

The data anomalies continued after this “drop” when at every update following, the new vote totals were each within 99% of what was needed to maintain Biden’s lead, regardless of where these votes came from.

These latest findings underscore the need for a Full Forensic Audit, similar to what is being done in Arizona, to be conducted in an effort to clarify these anomalies and restore public faith in the integrity of our electoral systems.

“It’s clear that these Machine Voting Systems are vulnerable to Cyber Hacking and other attacks that have the ability to affect the integrity of our election systems,” Chair of the Maryland Voter Integrity Group, Robyn Sachs said. “The recent analysis of mathematical data shows that to go forward, we need to actually move backwards to paper ballots and a hand count in order to regain control of accuracy in our electoral process.”

About The Maryland Voter Integrity Group

The Maryland Voter Integrity Group is committed to stamping out fraud and inaccuracies in Maryland’s voter rolls to preserve voter confidence and free, fair, and transparent elections. For more information, please visit the organization’s Facebook page.

This whole Biden Presidency is nothing but a total catastrophe. The major ones are now Afghanistan, the open border and shutting down the pipeline plus cutting back oil on Federal lands. He is putting this country at the mercy of OPEC for oil. By the way Biden is hiding at Camp David today. He is under a "lid".

That's nice. But then again you can't even figure out that the psychic Arizona audits are a joke. What websites are you checking? The MyPillow guys?

That's a whole other discussion. I didn't even bring up any of that.

Re: Biden and Vietnam

South Vietnam - many in hindsight believe that had the US provided significant aid to the South Vietnamese Government they could have held.

iirc USA promised military aid to South Vietnam as a part of the peace deal.. and Congress reneged on that.

In terms of how the war was lost .. many lessons on that, biggest lesson was it was a political win for Charlie ..

From a historical perspective, yes you can lay the blame on Biden for his part in pulling the aid to what we had promised to our ally South Vietnam.

Historians have directly attributed the fall of Saigon in 1975 to the cessation of American aid. Without the necessary funds, South Vietnam found it logistically and financially impossible to defeat the North Vietnamese army.

Moreover, the withdrawal of aid encouraged North Vietnam to begin an effective military offensive against South Vietnam. Given the monetary and military investment in Vietnam, former Assistant Secretary of State Richard Armitage compared the American withdrawal to “a pregnant lady, abandoned by her lover to face her fate." (2) Historian Lewis Fanning went so far as to say that “it was not the Hanoi communists who won the war, but rather the American Congress that lost it." (3)

Your correct. The Democratic Congress lost the war and sacrificed SVN, on purpose. They could not allow Republican Nixon to succeed where they had failed so miserably. South Viet Nam had to go, to justify their failures.
First- South Viet Nam was obligated by Treaty to purchase all it's military supplies from the USA. They had large contracts with American companies supplying all their their spare parts for equipment, ammunition, fuel, medical supplies radios and communication gear, trucks, helicopters, parts for planes, new barrels for their shot out artillery. Every Thing they needed was bought in the US.
Second- Late 1974 the Democratic Congress decided to "Investigate" this deal for bogus reasons. They halted all the shipments of supplies, ordering the hold in our ports all freighters taking supplies to South Viet Nam. The "Investigation" Never Ended. South Viet Nam, with no gas for trucks, no ammo, no air support, No Nothing, was attacked after almost two years of this.
Third- After the rapid fall of the un supplied South Viet Nam, the Democratic Congress confiscated this huge amount of supplies and supplied our military with it, while slashing our own military budget.

This recollection did not fully depict the context around Biden’s disagreement. At the time, Biden was part of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. A declassified transcript from the Ford Library Museum details the full conversation. In the discussion, Ford, Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, and a number of senators were debating evacuations of Americans, Vietnamese refugees, and military aid to Nguyễn Văn Thiệu, who was president of South Vietnam (though he would resign a few days after this meeting):

President: If there isn’t some indication of aid, the situation could disintegrate rapidly.
Sen. Jacob Javits (Republican): I will give you large sums for evacuation, but not one nickel for military aid for Thieu.
Sen. Frank Church (Democrat): I would think that if money is required to facilitate getting the Americans out, that can be worked out. What has not been worked out is the Vietnamese evacuees. Secretary Kissinger has said maybe there are 175,000. Clearly there is no legal inhibition to bringing some out along with Americans, but 175,000, with American troops involved, could involve us in a very large war. This raises the specter of a new war, thousands of American troops holding on in an enclave for a long period.
President: It is not envisaged that this would be for a long period but as quickly and precisely as possible.
Biden: What concerns us is that a week ago [Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Philip] Habib told us we would be formulating a plan. A week has gone by and nothing has happened. We should focus on getting them out. Getting the Vietnamese out and military aid for the GVN [Government of South Vietnam] are totally different.
[…]
Kissinger: The plan for American evacuation is in pretty good shape. But we had a report that if we pulled out and left them in the lurch, we may have to fight the South Vietnamese. It was that we were concerned with and that is why we waited to go to Thieu so we didn’t do it in the context of a bug out. The second problem is getting American citizens out in an emergency. Third is the Vietnamese to whom we have an obligation. This is infinitely more complicated and large-scale. It requires cooperation from the GVN and maybe the North Vietnamese.
Biden: I feel put upon in being presented an all or nothing number. I don’t want to have to vote to buy it all or not at all. I am not sure I can vote for an amount to put American troops in for one to six months to get the Vietnamese out. I will vote for any amount for getting the Americans out. I don’t want it mixed with getting the Vietnamese out.
[…]
Sen. Hugh Scott (Republican): I agree to the proposal. One thing we haven’t discussed is the amounts. I think we need to discuss a figure.
Biden: I don’t want to commit myself to any precise number. How much money depends on how many we try to get out.

  • The Taliban set up checkpoints in Kabul, restricting access to the airport, The Wall Street Journal reported.
  • Residents' smartphones are being inspected for communications in English.
  • Militants continue to search offices and homes of Afghans affiliated with Western governments and organizations.

The Taliban have strengthened their grip on Afghanistan's capital city by setting up checkpoints around Kabul, where residents' smartphones are being searched for any signs of communications in English, according to a Wall Street Journal report on Tuesday.
Taliban forces have searched Afghans' phones for any sign of illicit material, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Taliban fighters are also searching the offices and homes of Afghans who have affiliations with Western governments or organizations. Many Afghans are racing to erase past online lives, scrubbing their phones for evidence of a more secular lifestyle over the last 20 years.
The Taliban have also set up checkpoints at entrances to Kabul's airport, where they have whipped and beat Afghans who tried to cross to make an escape, the Wall Street Journal report said.
The Journal reported that some evacuation flights were leaving near-empty, as a result of the new checkpoints. A German military A400M Airbus - which has a capacity of over 100 passengers - took off with just seven onboard on Tuesday.
